This 5' wide leaded stained glass window was created by the artist from a photo of the original located in the Seven Gables Inn in Monterey.
The artist is known as the renaissance man by local artists because of expertise in working with glass, wood and even wrought iron. He has won national awards for his work.
Currently the artist is only working with mosaic glass on old surfboards. This art covers THREE of his passions, recycling to help save the environment, working with glass and giving to worthy non profit causes. If you would like to have one of your old boards recreated into a work of art or if you would like to donate an old board to a worthy cause, please contact me.
There are no shortcuts with this artist. He even researched how the early stained glass artists worked and he created his own putty to match the originals.
